Despite my fascination with the body's ability to take unusual shapes, I firmly believe that it is best served when we move with awareness and intention, meeting ourselves where we are each day.

Each month, class with me will have a particular area of concentration. Over time, this focused attention helps you build appreciation for your body’s many different functions and all the ways your practice can serve you on and off the mat.

A one-time dedicated triathlete, I was apprehensive of adding yoga to my demanding training schedule. After a bad ankle sprain sidelined my triathlon ambitions, that dream gave way to yoga becoming my life’s work. 

Since then, I’ve undergone over 1,000 hours of yoga teacher training in different traditions, taught over 5,000 hours of class to students, and helped lead a dozen 200-hour teacher trainings on both US coasts and Guatemala.

I’m grateful for every teacher I’ve had the opportunity to learn from, particularly Jason Crandell, Nikki Carter, and Jared McCann.
